And that is good news as I am not going to be bored here \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>\u3044\u3064\u306b\u306a\u3063\u305f\u3089\u30d8\u30eb\u30b7\u30f3\u30ad\u306e\u7d20\u6575\u306f\u30ab\u30d5\u30a7\u3092\u5168\u90e8\u5236\u8987\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u304b\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u3053\u3093\u306a\u5c0f\u3055\u3044\u8857\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308b\u304c\u3001\u7d20\u6575\u306a\u30ab\u30d5\u30a7\u306f\u307b\u3093\u3068\u306b\u5c71\u307b\u3069\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u6c17\u3065\u3044\u3066\u9a5a\u304f\u4eca\u65e5\u3053\u306e\u9803\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cafe.www.smileyumi.com\/2013\/02\/22\/coffee-pastry-from-karelia-konditoria-hopia-helsinki\/img_2556\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-596\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-596\" alt=\"IMG_2556\" src=\"http:\/\/cafe.www.smileyumi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2013\/02\/IMG_2556-500x375.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I knew almost nothing about this cafe when I went there first time except I&#8217;d heard it has the best <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Karelian_pasty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karelian pie<\/a> (karjalanpiirakka, if you know Finnish) in Helsinki. The first time I went there with a friend, the tables were fully occupied and I did take away some pastries including Karelian pie. At that time, what got my eyes was the sign at the entrance. It said, &#8220;kahvila (coffee shop), konditoria (confectionery). I wondered if I had seen sign of &#8220;konditoria&#8221; anywhere else in Finland. The word\u00a0&#8220;konditoria&#8221;\u00a0made\u00a0me think the cafe &amp; confectionery &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.konditoriahopia.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hopia<\/a>&#8221; must be a\u00a0promising\u00a0place for coffee break. (In my mind, the word &#8220;confectionery&#8221; is always the sign of excellent sweet food producers but I don&#8217;t know why.) The pastries I took away were pretty nice but I wasn&#8217;t sure if the Karelian pie was the best in Helsinki. So, I went out with a camera and ended up with a place I didn&#8217;t know where I was. Luckily, I found a bus stop where I could take bus back to the city center. (And I always have a phone with GPS, of\u00a0course!\u00a0) Since I felt cold after walking a lot outside, I felt like coffee and pulla. Emma founded the cafe to bring Karelian cafe and pastry culture to Helsinki. Customers were coming in all the times. Most of customers having coffee in the shop were on their own including myself. They (or we) just had coffee and pulla quietly reading newspapers. It felt awkward to take pictures but I knew they wouldn&#8217;t mind as I have heard the cafe was in Japanese magazine. It seems customers simply love to have coffee and pulla at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.konditoriahopia.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hopia<\/a>. I also liked to be in such a local cafe with nice coffee and pulla. It&#8217;s very Finnish cafe not only from what they serve but also from their opening-hours-point of view.
